I’m Phil Dyson and I’m the chair of Iridescence, a bid for the 2026 Eastercon to be held at the Birmingham Metropole, 3-6 April 2026.
We’re holding a town hall, an online drop-in meeting on Sunday 9th February 5-7pm, when you can ask questions about the bid, meet the committee and find out how to get involved. We have lots of opportunities and would love to hear from you if you are interested! Sign up to our mailing list or email us at info@eastercon2026.org for a Zoom link for the meeting on 9th February, or if you can’t make that but have questions you’d like us to answer.
We will put together an FAQ after the meeting and put that on the website. If you've already signed up, fantastic, we'll be in touch shortly.
We’ll be bidding formally at Reconnect in Belfast. We hope to see lots of you there!
